About me

Hi, I'm James. I'm a wilderness & landscape photographer with a soft side for poetry, walking simulators, and ambient music. When making photos I try to capture a scene as accurately as possible, then attempt to recreate the emotions I was experiencing while existing in the space through delicate post-processing methods. Manipulation of color and light is a really fulfilling process, and I enjoy communicating intimately with my audience through the use of both.

In May 2024, I published my first photo zine: “in key west” in a limited run of 25 copies, all numbered and signed.

I’m currently working on my next project: “hardly working” — a photo zine comprised entirely of photos taken during downtime on work trips throughout 2024 and 2025.
